Little Italy Bungalows welcomes guests from around the world to make themselves at home in our eight studio cottages originally constructed in 1926 by Master Builder Allen H. Hilton and artfully restored in 2017 by award-winning San Diego architect Jonathan Segal, FAIA.

Each studio apartment-style cottage combines loads of vintage charm with modern amenities including a comfortable queen-sized Murphy bed, fully equipped kitchen, living area with flat-screen TV, fast WiFi, and private patio in some units. You’ll be steps from Little Italy’s best dining and boutique shopping, with iconic San Diego attractions like Balboa Park and Mission Bay a short ride away. While each of the cottages may differ in layout and decor, they are all designed to provide you with a beautiful and comfortable home away from home.

The bungalows property is designated as a historical resource by the City of San Diego, which recognizes it as a good example of the Spanish Eclectic style of bungalow court apartments popular in the early 1900s.
